| Job Description |
A renewable energy company is searching for a Head of Commercial Off-take (PPA), Business Development. The chosen candidate will be in charge of growing and maintaining off-taker relationships. Responsibilities: * Grow, maintain, and prioritise off-taker relationships * Lead execution of corporate off-take agreements * Maximise project value across our portfolio of assets * Work closely with the development, EPC, and project finance teams Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, finance, economics, marketing, real estate, or related field (MBA is advantageous) * More than 10 years of professional experience * 2-3 years of experience in business development or project development related to utility-scale renewable power plant development (solar is preferred) * Experience in structured project finance and the sensitivities of equity and debt providers related to the respective terms of the PPA * Understanding of renewable project development and execution process with direct experience in renewable project origination, development, project finance, or asset management * Proficient in MS Office * Knowledge of PV technology, project development, construction, operation, maintenance, and performance * Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills * Ability and willingness to travel * Proficient in written and verbal Japanese; fluent level English is a plus |
