This is a global examination solution company with HQ in the US. The Senior Software Architect is responsible for leading the software engineering team to modernise and re-architect current company's systems in Japan to be more modular, secure, and scalable, while eventually integrating Japan systems with global systems. Description * Design and build robust, scalable software systems, focusing on modernising the outdated applications. * Collaborate with the global IT team to implement new services that align with client needs and global strategies. * Enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC) models, including Dev(Sec)Ops and CI/CD practices. * Lead solution architecture efforts, ensuring adherence to SOLID principles and modern design patterns. Profile * 5-10 years of experience in Microsoft .NET or C# programming (ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Minimal API, Entity Framework). * Strong background in software architecture, with an understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and test-driven development (TDD). * Experience in MS SQL data engineering and front-end development * Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese to communicate with internal engineering team.
