Position Summary Global Responsibility: We're seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join our team as a Global Fulfillment Center Quality Assurance Manager. In this day-to-day autonomous role, you'll oversee quality-related activities across our fulfillment centers globally. This includes monitoring and tracking all quality-related tasks for Thales CPL products fulfilled at regional fulfillment centers worldwide, including centers in Japan, The Netherlands, India, and Brazil. You'll lead fulfillment service supplier QA teams and remote fulfillment center staff on quality-related matters. Additionally, you'll identify opportunities for continuous improvements aimed at enhancing order fulfillment efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. As the fulfillment quality point of contact for all Thales CPL employees, you'll take ownership of investigating and addressing quality concerns. Local Site-Level Activity: In addition to your global responsibilities, you'll also play a crucial role in coordinating production technical support for our fulfillment center in Hachioji, Japan. This will involve performing onsite inspections to ensure compliance with the Thales CPL Workmanship Standard and other regulations. Act as a local agent for our remote Operations Engineering team, providing technical support, and training on printers, workstations, and production equipment and procedures at the local site. Your role will also encompass acting as the local coordinator for IT issues related to workstations in a production environment and coordinating resolution of engineering issues for all production order fulfillment. Furthermore, for time to time you will respond to surveys requests and failure analysis reports from customers in Japan and attend customer review meetings as the Quality representative. Other Responsibilities: Beyond your global and local site-level activities, you'll support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for worldwide fulfillment centers. You'll serve as the lead for the regional Fulfillment Center MRB (Material Review Board) and CMB (Change Management Board). Additionally, you'll perform the role of customer complaint treatment leader for assigned customer complaints, leading 8D investigations and preparing customer-facing reports and presentations. You'll also manage PowerBI reports and provide operational support across various projects and initiatives. This role requires strong diligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility • Work closely with the product QA Managers responsible for Quality & Customer Satisfaction (QCS) and represent the QCS priorities for worldwide order fulfillment operations. • Performs onsite QA inspection as needed. • Supports quality issue investigations for worldwide order fulfillment centers. • Generate/translate failure analysis reports for customers in Japan. • Supports inquiry, survey, and specification report request from customers in Japan. • Coordinating weekly meetings with Thales CPL Operations teams on MRB, CMB and continuous Improvement project activity • Provides onsite technical support (Printer, workstation, tool, and equipment) working with WPS/OE e.g., Upgrades, validation of software modules as well as ensure the products are configured according to new product initiatives in CPL. • Acts as the local coordinator of IT issue related to the workstations in production. • Coordinates engineering issues, trainings and communications related to all production procedures. • Troubleshoots applications, workflows, scripts, and equipment. • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience & Education Education • BS in a technical field (Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Services), or equivalent work experience in a related field, is required. Experience • 7+ years of experience in supporting production and or order fulfillment processes and/or customer deliveries. • Experience in clearly defining functional requirements and collaborating with remote teams to develop a solution that meets these requirements. • Exposure to Operational process flows from concept to delivery in a hardware/software/cloud environment. • Experience working with complex technical solutions in the information security field is a plus. • Exposure to Incident management and Problem Management is a plus. Technical • Demonstrated experience with client/server applications, computer systems, protocols, and ports. • Good exposure to equipment setup, maintenance and setting up processes and procedures. • Good analytical abilities and critical thinking skills. • Comfortable with setting up computers, software upgrades and drivers’ installations. Preferred Qualifications • Lean manufacturing and six sigma certifications • Experience with Product Data Management system, preferable Windchill.
