We’re looking for an energetic, experienced and motivated Major Account Manager (Sales Director) to join our Sales Team to promote Sandvine's innovative technologies.
Reporting into the Regional VP of Sales and as part of a growing team, you’ll support the development and implementation of the company’s strategy for business growth.
To do so it is expected that you will have a good understanding of current and future markets/opportunities and will develop and maintain excellent relationships with existing and prospective customers. You’ll play an integral role in growing the business in a new market segment.
This opportunity is for you if you are passionate about technology, confident in your ability to engage with the right customer contacts to seek out and understand their challenges, and are able to promote and deliver the right solutions for them.
・Identification and development of new opportunities for Sandvine products and services
・Achievement of revenue targets
・Investigating, creating, and implementing a sales strategy and associated product strategy for all products and services across defence and non-defence.
・Developing, growing and managing a network of senior stakeholders
・Creating detailed monthly plans that will deliver the growth and activity required to meet the business targets.
・Building a detailed understanding of the customers, markets and competitors.
・Identifying and targeting revenue potential within your accounts/market sector.
・This role may require travel and therefore have the ability and flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time.

【Who we are looking for】
・Excitement for new and innovative technologies.
・High energy, self-starter with strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to work independently
・5-10 years solutions based sales experience
・Strong technical background and understanding of Telecommunications networks.
・Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, with preference for deep existing relationships within the key agencies is a plus.
・You’ll have a track record of overachieving, selling complex software solutions involving multiple stakeholders and strong negotiation skills.
・Must have strong experience creating strategic business plans and competitive strategy for assigned accounts.
・You’ll be expected to display initiative and self-motivation in carrying out the role and will be expected to handle and respond positively to constructive challenge.
・An enthusiasm and desire to succeed whilst maintaining the highest personal standards.
・Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal teams, customers, vendors and shareholders.
・A commitment to meeting external and internal customer expectations. The ability to display the required Company behaviours when under pressure and a track record of delivering consistently high-quality output on time;
・Fluent Japanese and English Ability
