Essential job duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Facilitate all aspects of in-person and virtual event planning, management and execution for the organization mainly new hire orientation events for Japanese and Korean salesforce employees (This may extend to Town Halls, training sessions, seminars, conferences, leadership meetings, employee social events, other staff functions and special events in future).
Plan and organize the corporate events and manage event calendars; evaluate and own project timelines of events including but not limited to announcement, invitation, event registration, reminders, agendas and materials, room set-up and post-event follow-ups with attendees.
Research and secure venues and catering, and manage logistical coordination such as hotel, transportation and other travel-related activities for large in-person meetings and conferences.
Design and disseminate event marketing communications and materials.
Conduct pre- and post-event follow-ups including reports, evaluations, surveys and summaries with internal and external constituents.
Act as an advocate and foster an atmosphere of open communication and networking at events that builds trust across the organization forging partnerships across traditional department boundaries.
2~3 years of public relations or event hosting related experience for large audience, preferably at corporate supporting functions by interacting with all levels of management including executives or board members.
2+ years planning and organizing company events.
Good to have:
Previous experience in IT, Finance, Consulting, Investment, or Conglomerate industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
Nice to have 2-3 years of IT related knowledge and experience using Microsoft office (Excel, word, PowerPoint etc.), but not mandatory.
Extensive speaking, event hosting skills
Can work well both as an individual and as part of a team.
Willing to take direction and follow well defined processes and procedures
Self-starter with exceptional interpersonal and organization skills, meticulous attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills, multi-tasking with excellent time-management, proven experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with excellent judgment, diplomacy, and discretion.
