· Interactive App Development for Social Robot Haru

Main duties

Development of Apps and interactive contents for mediation for intervention and lifestyle coaching
Utilization of programs for real-time sensor data collection and processing, fusion of multiple sensor data (camera, sound, speech)
Development of functions for the processing of sensor data for use in App
Development of robot behavior generation based on incoming sensor data information and connection to virtual contents
Cooperation with partners for integration of necessary system components
Required Skills and Experience

Solid programming knowledge and experience (object-oriented programming, C++/Python）
Knowledge of console-based system control (preferably experience with ROS)
Experience with 2D and 3D virtual contents (preferably experience with Unity)
Knowledge in sensor signal processing or interactive App development
Preferably knowledge of machine learning algorithms and technologies, experience with machine learning libraries and software modules
English communication skills (approximate TOEIC 600 or higher) *The supervisor is a foreigner.
Japanese skills: not mandatory

Ability to work independently
Ability to communicate and collaborate with people
Ability to read and use utilize code developed by other persons
Ability to understand and solve problems
English Level Business Conversation Level (TOEIC 735-860)
Japanese Level Minimum Communication Level
