【Overview of Position】
Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) is looking for a web marketer/ web contents manager who will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the university website as well as developing aspects of digital marketing. Duties include managing website upgrades, testing for website performance, implementing a strategy to increase web traffic and subscribers, troubleshooting website issues, and creating content audits as well as ensuring the website has brand strategy alignment. This person in this position also ensures website compliance with all regulations. Must possess good problem-solving skills and knowledge in search engine optimization.
This position will ensure that the content of a website is well-organized and easy to find and that it meets the needs of its users by covering all necessary topics and being up-to-date and accurate. The content managed will include web pages, images, videos, blog posts, guest articles, reviews and occasionally social media and marketing copy.
In this exciting and important role, the person in this position will be part of the Communications Marketing Support team who deal with advertising, publications, and public relations, but will also be working closely with the directors of seven programs at TUJ (the Undergraduate Program, three graduate programs, the Academic English Program, Corporate Education, and Continuing Education), as well as well as with TUJ technical staff – all to ensure a high quality, effective website to support the university’s mission of contributing to international education and cross-cultural understanding.
■Oversee and manage TUJ’s bilingual (E/J) website smoothly in coordination with other departments, taking into account the operations of the entire organization.
■Monitor and analyze site performance, and minimize downtime.
■Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute web projects, and manage the web staff (external and internal).
■Research, develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO, online advertising, and mail, social media marketing, and public relations.
■Manage site content including a graphic image library. Discuss with stakeholders to develop and manage content, which leads to greater results.
■Conduct content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in the site content.
■Analyze analytics data to learn how users interact with the website.
■Conduct surveys of user groups to learn about how they view the website.
■Ensure that the TUJ website is strategic and focused on expanding TUJ’s brand and increasing visibility while attracting and engaging new followers with understanding of the university market in Japan, the U.S., and globally.
■Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of the TUJ website; analyze, review, and report on web performance to maximize results. Manage and implement multiple promotional campaigns and develop a tracking system to monitor ROI.
■Help create content that contributes to the promotion of the university, including news stories and videos.

|Working Hours||9:00 to 17:30, Monday through Friday|
・Proven work as a web marketer, web content manager, project manager and team manager.
・3 or more years of experience in managing bilingual websites for a mid-to-large organization as a webmaster or web developer.
・3 or more years of experience in web design and web development with solid knowledge and skills of basic design and layout, as well as the basic ability to use tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
・Multitasking and strong analytical skills using social listening tools ad Google analytics.
・Experience with WordPress and Drupal.
・Either native level Japanese with business level English OR native level English with business level Japanese.

|Holidays||Eleven days paid vacation in the first year increasing to 20 days after 6 years of employment, plus 5 paid “personal and sick days” each year. In addition, approximately two weeks company-wide break over Christmas/New Year.|
