Daijob Success Stories

Read about how previous Fair participants found the perfect job through the Daijob Career Fair!

Miss Izmin, from Malaysia.

Participant of the Daijob Career Fair in May 2022, and subsequently joined security integrator company Avtel. Currently working as a Service Project Coordinator.

I was pleasantly surprised at the available job opportunities at the Daijob Career Fair.

On the day of the Career Fair, I was looking for a marketing position, and I visited 4 booths. Among these 4 booths were Avtel’s booth, and after they asked me about my work history, they suggested that I apply for the Service Project Coordinator role, which at the time wasn’t available on the Daijob.com site yet. This led to me eventually joining the company, and I realized just how important it is to be able to talk to the recruiting managers face to face for hidden opportunities like this.

The Avtel staff who were at the booth could speak both Japanese and English, and overall it felt like the company had a really global environment and good team play as well, which played a big part in my decision to join the company. I am personally able to communicate in Japanese, but as my personality is a little shy, I was glad to have the opportunity to speak directly to the company staff and get a “real” feel of the company. Everyone has been nothing but kind to me after I joined the company as well, so I am enjoying my work now.
