| 仕事内容 | EIRE Systems is looking to hire Datacenter Support Engineers to provide professional Data Center Operations Support Services for one of our global banking sector clients. Multiple opportunities exist and the successful candidates will work on-site at our client’s Data Center facilities in the Tokyo area. Role / Responsibilities / Key objectives • Break/Fix and Install, Move, Add & Change for Server Hardware (and Core Software) in the Data Center • Monitoring, reporting and resolution of server related incidents using various tools provided. • Installation or upgrade of server hardware, parts replacement and management of spare parts inventories • Asset management: Labeling and recording of assets, documenting changes (Move / remove / decommission) Periodic asset checking • Tape Library Management including inventory at the Sites and off-site (and retrieval arrangement from off-site). • Vendor coordination: Log hardware cases with respective vendors and manage vendor communications; escorting and supervision of vendors requiring access to the datacenter. • Emergency call out service as required (team rotation basis) |

| 勤務時間 | Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day on a shift basis between 6:30am-8pm Occasional out of hours On-call support may be required. |

| 応募条件 | • Previous Experience working in a Data Center (preferably for a financial organization) • Understand common Data Center technologies and related terminology • HP, IBM or other relevant IT hardware certification or demonstrated ability to understand & learn different hardware & parts replacement procedures. • Experience of hardware fault analysis. • Confidence to rack IT equipment within the Data Center environment with minimal supervision. • Understand power resiliency • Demonstrate understanding of the sensitivities of working in a financial company's data center environment • Good documenting skills - experience using various software tools for recording and managing requests and incidents. • Communication skills both oral and written English (professional-level communications skills in Japanese preferred) • Ability to respond to issues quickly and report the status. • Candidates must be able to work as part of a team and also be able to work independently as required. |
