| 仕事内容 | Senior Program Coordinator to work with Vice President/Executive Director of a new international science and technology research institute in Okinawa. Coordinate research and administrative programs in a dynamic new international research and graduate training institute. Includes assisting with the preparation of plans and reports with administrative and research staff, ministry officials, and public representatives. Organize and manage meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and write reports in English and Japanese. Carry out online and other research. Some translation and interpretation required. Flexibility with working hours and some domestic and international travel required. |

| 応募条件 | Articulate with strong communication and writing skills in Japanese and English. Able to interact smoothly with senior officials. Must be well-organized and discreet and have personal initiative. Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision. Experience with coordinating multiple activities across different groups. Computer skills including experience with project management, MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and/or Lotus Notes or other collaboration software, and databases. Experience with project or market research and fact checking an advantage. Comfortable with change and innovation. Five or more years of relevant experience desirable Bachelors level education or higher desirable. Familiarity with scientific, engineering, or technical program coordination desirable. |
