ASIJ has an international work environment with staff from around 13 countries and a dynamic student body. Situated in Chofu, the campus is the largest of any international school in Japan and is surrounded by the greenery of Nogawa Park.

Though we don't follow the Japanese national holiday schedule, school holidays include a long weekend in October, a four-day weekend for Thanksgiving, a three-week New Year’s vacation, two extra days in mid-winter, and a week-long spring break. The summer break is approximately six-weeks in June and July.
