| Job Description | Sector: Finance Location: Japan: Tokyo Duration: Permanent JOB DESCRIPTION Development of front office systems according to client system specifications. Develop test plans and conduct thorough testing as required. Assist in the UAT and post implementation support as required. This is a wide-ranging position, with many opportunities for interacting with many different systems used within financial securities institutions. Candidates should be creative thinkers who enjoy developing new solutions. Location/Environment: The candidate will work in the Tokyo region. The Candidate should be comfortable working without constant supervision and be able to identify and prioritize tasks. Candidates should be based in Japan and available for interview. |

| Qualifications | Desirable skills include the following: C / C++ / VC++ - minimum 3 years in at least one of these languages SQL / Sybase - 1 year Tibco RV - 1 year XML - a plus VBA, Perl - a plus *Strong communication and people skills required from both a business and technical perspective. Strong English skills required. *Attention to detail, ability to priorities and to complete work on schedule essential. *Knowledge of equities or fixed income derivatives knowledge an advantage.. Language Skills: Native English speaker (Japanese not necessary). |
