| Job Description | - Monitor telephone and e-mail contact channels for clients’ incident and service request reports during normal business hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. - Log all incidents and service requests in the incident tracking system. - Resolve via telephone and remote support tools incidents related to MS Windows Operating Systems, MS Office applications, and other common desktop packages. - Visit clients’sites to resolve incidents and service requests. - Escalate incidents to management, technical authorities, and 3rd party vendors as appropriate. - Check known error and problem databases and associate incidents with existing entries in either. -On-call after-hours emergency support of clients as assigned. On-call support may involve emergency site visits. - Update inventories and documentation for clients as assigned. - Assist in the project management of clients’ office implementations. |
