| Job Description | EIRE Systems K.K., a leading IT Services and Consulting firm, is looking for a Manager/Supervisor for a new Desktop Support Team to work on-site at one of it customers - one of the world's most innovative and vibrant internet technology firms. As the successful candidate, you will LEAD A TEAM of desktop support technicians troubleshooting of desktop/laptop PCs and handheld devices, standard office and security applications, as well as general networking support issues. This is an excellent opportunity to TRAIN, COACH AND MENTOR a team of 1st and 2nd level IT Operations Support professionals. Tasked with analyzing and reporting on support data, documenting processes/procedures and recommending process improvements, this role would suit an experienced IT Support professional, capable of meeting program metrics, monitoring and reporting on individual performance and functioning as the ESCALATION POINT FOR TEAM MEMBERS and client interface on operational issues. You will work in the Tokyo region, with our Tokyo based clients. You should be comfortable working without constant supervision and be capable of identifying and prioritizing tasks. **Candidates should be based in Japan, available for interview, and be able to start working quickly. |

| Qualifications | Management/Leadership: - Be able to demonstrate a previous history of leadership, working in large IT Support environments. - Working knowledge of the service level requirements of IT Operations in a large enterprise environment. - Proven ability to communicate effectively with both team members and management confidently and respectfully IT Support: - Extensive Windows XP and PC hardware and software experience. - Knowledge of network designs and support issues. Good troubleshooting skills. - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes. - Experience in 1st and 2nd level technical support Language needs: Effective spoken and written Japanese and English communication skills |
