| Job Description | A new opening with a start up company from the US, in the plastics industry, as the financial controller! Position Purpose Directs the financial activities of the company. Prepares timely and accurate financial statements, manages working capital, and assists in the management of costs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: *Part of and supporting the senior management team. *Production of timely and accurate financial statements and management information. *Responsibility for the day to day running of the finance department. *Training and development of the finance team. *Supervision of accounts payable function and authorisation of payment runs. *Supervision of accounts receivable and credit control function. *Liaison with external bodies such as banks, auditors and Tax authorities *Develop and manage banking relationships *Ensure compliance with JP GAAP and client policies. *Preparation of annual financial statements and corporation tax analyses. *Preparation and production of annual plans and forecasts. *Procurement of alternative finance options for investment projects. *Internal financial process and systems development and implementation. *Control and optimisation of cash and working capital including foreign exchange transactions. *Production of cash flow forecasts and other relevant key performance indicators. *Reporting of financial results and assisting in cost control initiatives and decision making procedures. *Providing financial support and information to client finance function as required. *Implement Microsoft AX ERP system Work Environment Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required. Background check Background check (Criminal, Credit and Reputation) will be conducted. |
