| Job Description | Summary Description: This person will initially head up the injection-molding capability for the Client when their product is launched. Required Attributes: Experience sampling molds (doing the initial setup of a mold and establishing the injection molding parameters that result in a good part). Experience establishing processes for many different types of low-temperature thermoplastic engineering resins. Experience identifying, diagnosing, and correcting injection molding process problems like flash, sink, burn, short shots, warp, excessive shrink, etc. Experience with inspection tools and gages such as calipers. Able to do quality inspection and pass judgment on his own, and other’s, work product. |

| Qualifications | Desired Attributes: Experience running multiple brands of injection molding machines Experience maintaining injection molding machines Also look for: Able and willing to do all the jobs in the molding shop in the beginning, even the ones that are traditionally done by lower-level staff. Able to manage a growing staff in the molding department – additional mold process technicians, machine operators/finishers, material handlers. Ability to grow into a manufacturing manager role. Willingness to do things the Client way. Computer skills – able to interact with the Intranet quite a bit. Customer skills – this person may be the one who will be giving advice to customers such as what our Customer Service Engineers do here. |
