| Job Description | BiOS is now actively searching for a "hands on" manager to bring their skill and knowledge to our client’s important Data Centre operations in Osaka. · Managing onsite staff and all equipment installations · Ensuring data center management software information is up-to-date · Policy and procedure evaluation · Managing cabling requirements for equipment installations · Managing shipments for installations into data centers · Cataloguing equipment prior to installation · Physical installation of equipment in data center space. · Network patching · Troubleshooting of hardware (as identified by SA staff) · Hardware replacement (as directed by SA staff) · Managing the removal and disposal of all EOL or retired equipment. · Managing all onsite vendor activity. · Managing and reporting of data center local environmental monitoring · Identification and reporting of all facility-related issues. |

| Working Hours | 9am to 6pm, + Out of hours support when required | |
| Qualifications | · Familiarity with data center environments · Applicable manufacturer hardware knowledge (i.e. HP, Sun, EMC, IBM, Mainframe) · Familiarity with computer hardware and terminology · Familiarity with networking principles, storage system architectures · Installation of servers in racks is a part of the job. Ability to physically install servers necessary. · Team lead/manager experience in secured/multinational environment. In addition, please note that applicants will need BUSINESS LEVEL fluency in both English and Japanese.
