| Job Description | -1. Position Summary The position will be responsible for the design and development high volume production pyrotechnic devices from concept through production. -2. Principle Duties and Responsibilities -The individual will with minimal instruction be able to design pyrotechnic products as well as devise and execute engineering tests for the purpose of developing and qualifying the new products. -Tests may be performed all or in part by others who will receive their direction from this person. -The ability to work and communicate well with other employees is essential. -The engineer will function substantially as a program manager during most of the product development.- The individual will be responsible for creating and maintenance of engineering drawings in CAD packages as needed. -3. Knowledge and Skills -Program Management Skill -Experience with automotive industry,DFMEA, DOE, pyrotechnics, plastics are needed, but may be gained as part of the job. -The ability to use PC with CAD, Word,Excel, Database, etc., |
