| Job Description | EIRE Systems is currently seeking a senior Project Manager with specialist knowledge and experience in the UNIX infrastructure requirements for large Datacenter buildout projects for it's global finance sector clients. Description of duties: · Work with global team on the installation of server/storage hardware · Coordinate with all key vendors and internal teams for the actual installation and signoff Required Skills and Experience · University degree in Computers or related subject · 2 - 5 years of relevant experience · Extensive experience on Linux & UNIX environment · Working knowledge of Unix YP, NIS, DNS · Working knowledge of Clustering technologies such as Microsoft Cluster, Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) · Extensive hardware support experience in HP, Dell server hardware, IBM Blade Center, ClearCube and related components. · Familiar with data center operation and migration Non-technical Skills · Project management skills: Ability to manage project within a highly demanding environment · Project management skills: Effective organizational skills · Project management skills: Ability to establish and maintain relationships across various IT organizations · Self motivated with record of accomplishment with managing and successfully deploying projects · Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills · Strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity · Self-motivated and achievement-orientated with high energy level · Excellent team player capable of earning the respect of colleagues worldwide · Flexible and innovative |
