| Job Description | A leading Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Analyst Developer to join the foreign exchange desk. Foreign Exchange is an incredibly dynamic business and is a growing source of revenue for a number of divisions. This role provides a number of challenging opportunities for the analyst/developer. Responsibilities - Work with the traders, salespeople, strategists and operations personnel to understand their issues and define requirements. - Contact and interaction with the trading and sales users. - Implement, review and test software for the trading desk. -Work on all stages of the software development cycle and with users from several locations. |

| Qualifications | Technical Skills - 3-8 years of work experience. - Strong programming skills in one or more. procedural/object oriented languages (C/C++, Java) - Experience with distributed systems desirable. - Work experience in financial services industry a plus. - Previous experience using databases (Sybase, Oracle) a plus. - Working knowledge of UNIX. Other Skills - Solid communication and interpersonal skills are a must given that the role will involve liaising with traders & salespeople. - Excellent Analytical skills. - A self starter. |
