| Job Description | Data Center Operations BiOS (A division of LINC Media Inc.) is currently looking for candidates to work at Data Center (DC) locations in the Tokyo area. Ideal candidates are those that have experience in Data Center infrastructure and support operations. You will be a bridge between the IT HQ and the ground level users. Ambitious and sensible troubleshooters with server-level experience, great organizational skills and a clear understanding of customer relationship are also highly encouraged to apply. |

| Qualifications | Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot hardware (IBM/HP) Ability to document workflow and update operation manuals Clear awareness and understanding of IT networking principles Strong organizational, communication and administration skills Hands-on Hardware Trouble Shooting Experience An interest in Blade Servers would be advantageous Ability to representative BiOS professionally with a driven commitment to provide high levels of customer service and satisfaction Language Requirements: English - Fluent Japanese - Daily Conversation Technical Requirements Knowledge and interest in HP, IBM and Sun Microsystems hardware Ability to install servers and manage workstations Knowledge of Solaris commands Preferred knowledge/skills/experience General knowledge of ITIL Monitoring onsite vendor activity IT Asset Management experience On-site IMAC experience Project Management experience Building and maintaining work stations Experience racking servers and an understanding of cabling Note that training can be provided for the right candidate |
