| Job Description | POSITION SUMMARY: It is the responsibility of Account Manager in Industry Sales group to increase the company’s penetration of all products within a assigned account throughout Japanese market. Working very closely with Industry Sales Manager and other Sales Staff, define sales opportunities on a national basis, propose conceptual control and information solutions, and manage the necessary resources across the company to achieve sales. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Call on designated customers to represent the company Products & capabilities to close orders. 2. Analyze accounts and develop an account penetration plan to increase customer share. 3. Update customers on new products and technology as related to customer needs. 4. Develop account relationships at technical and application side. 5. Solve customer problems with the company products/solutions. 6. Utilize branch and region resources to provide appropriate technical expertise to the customer. 7. Coordinate with channels on account strategy as necessary. 8. Coordinate Sales, MPS and/or other product business unit resources as necessary to resolve problems involving pricing, product specifications, warranties and product modifications. 9. Provide technical or commercial support to the team at a branch or region level. 10. Implement new product launches within accounts. 11. Analyze trends and strategies of competitors. Report conclusions to the Industry Sales Manager and appropriate Account Sales. 12. Actively seek out and participate in both formal and informal training opportunities to continuously develop technical skills.
