| Job Description | This company specializes in the acquisition and management of a diverse range of products including distressed real estate and loan portfolios, corporate loans, and various operating companies. The successful applicant will interact closely with the asset management teams, as well as other support divisions within the firm (Controllers, Tax, Legal), and various external counterparties (tax/ legal advisors, auditors, joint venture partners, etc). The Portfolio Management team assists in deal closings, fundings and the structuring of transactions. They also ensures that the structures are appropriately managed and controlled once they become operational Responsibilities: - Manage wide range of investment portfolios (i.e. commercial office, non-performing loan, hotel) - Present/communicate investment strategies to senior management - Coordinate communication between various groups within the firm including Accounting, Tax, Operations, to insure smooth closing and ongoing investment management - Oversee and develop junior staff - Monitor and present portfolio performance of investment portfolios to variety of investor audiences - Assist in the financial structuring and closing of transactions |
