| Qualifications | Requirements: • 5-7 years Java based software design and development experience, developing complex, distributed, multithreaded systems. • Strong understanding of core Java (1.5 and above), multithreading, Java Collections, JDBC, software frameworks, Design Patterns. • Experience with Java IDEs (e.g. Eclipse) and testing tools (e.g. JUnit, JProbe). • Working knowledge of common project management systems (e.g. Cruise Control, Maven, CVS, Subversion). • Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and relational databases (e.g. Oracle, Sybase). • Demonstrably pragmatic in problem-solving in any stage of the Software Life Cycle (e.g. analysis, maintenance, testing etc.). • Business domain knowledge in equities or other derivatives. |
