| Job Description | BiOS is always on the lookout for skilled billingual System Admins and Engineers, either to complement it's own international team of skilled professionals, to provide quality back up to it's customers, or to fill outsourcing roles on site in our customers own exciting and fast paced environments. The System Admin Engineer will work closely with the team already in place here providing support as and where needed as well as fulfilling the following duties during the course of their day: - Work closely with Engineering, Project management staff. - Maintains Microsoft windows / Unix based Business systems. - Supports client middleware environments. - Work closely with end users and businesses to provide a consistent and professional level of support. - Acquires understandings of the various business systems. - Functions well in a multinational diverse environment. |

| Qualifications | A skilled and able candidate will display the following attributes that will clearly mark them out as the ideal candidate for this position: ・Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common network services such as DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP and troubleshooting. ・Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator / Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) 2000, 2003 preferred ・ Scripting knowledge ・ Hardware knowledge / Hardware Management Software (HP Systems Insight Manager, Dell Open Manager) ・ Strong Communication Skill ・ Active Directory designing and support experience ・ Exchange Server/Messaging system development and support experience a plus In addition: 3-5 years expert level experience in Windows Server administration, design and support under a Windows environment 3-5 years experience of administering a multi-domain / Active-Directory server 3-5 years expert level experience in Windows Server administration, design and support under a Windows environment 3-5 years experience of administering a multi-domain / Active-Directory (NT4/2000) server environment, preferably over a wide area TCP/IP based network. Vendor Management experience Desirable personality traits: -Effective problem solving skills -Self starter, good at learning new things -Strong customer support skills -Able to work independently Langage Requirements: Applicants must have the following language abilities as a minimum: * At least Business-Level Japanese. * Business Level English. Applicants MUST possess a valid visa allowing them to work normally in Japan. |
