| Job Description | Our client, a leading E-commerce company is seeking a Site Merchandiser for their Tokyo branch. The Site Merchandiser will be Web Producer, Web Director and Webmaster. Responsibilities include store performance, such as revenue and website performance, management, production and operation for new store to contribute to store revenue goal and analyzing website metrics data, creating action plan and putting the plan into execution. • Site merchandising and internal marketing - (40%) - Develop/execute promotion plan including email by cooperation with buyers • Analyze website performance weekly and reflect the findings into the store’s business plan – (15%) • Understand traffic status by channel and work with Anywhere, Associates, Sponsored Link and SEO team to maximize store traffic – (10%) • Coop (co-marketing, product placement for brands) schedule management and execution by relation with buyers – (10%) • Store feature improvement and Global Project for more page hits and better customer experience – (10%) • Enrich website contents, by effective cooperation with vendors as well as managing freelancer and editorial budget – (5%) • Lead and execute the effective X-store promotion, by cooperation with other store’s site merchandisers – (5%) |

| Qualifications | The successful candidate will have over 3 years experience of internet business including planning, management and production, website product or website marketing experience with concrete number goal such as revenue, writing and copy-edit experience/skill, and web production skill set including HTML. Native level of Japanese and intermediate English skills are also required for this role. • Over 3 years experience of internet business including planning, management and production (EC web site experience is preferred) • Website produce or website marketing experience with concrete number goal, such as revenue • Writing and copy-edit experience/skill • Web production skill set including HTML • Editorial experience would also be preferred • Web marketing experience/skill such as associates, SEO, SEM and sponsored link are preferred • Knowledge about Baby goods or absorbing ability to learn about market • Knowledge of XML is desirable • VBA or other advanced technical skills are desirable |
