| Job Description | As a Consultant joining our existing LIMS Deployment Team, you should have 4-5 years lab / LIMS project experience (especially in pharmaceutical QC labs), be able to work independently and will be responsible for leading / coordinating site deployments. Experience is required in a LIMS implementation project in a role of leadership or leadership capacity. This could be as a technical team lead, or business analysis team lead. Travel will be high, nationally and internationally 75%. Our pharmaceutical client has completed development of version 2 of an internally developed, customized "Core LIMS" built on Applied BioSystems SQL*LIMS product (version 5). Several sites have been deployed on previous internal version 1.0 of Core LIMS and the client is now deploying version 2 to the remaining sites. There are a total of 22 international sites in scope. |

| Qualifications | * Laboratory informatics application (LIMS, CDS, ELN) implementation in FDA-regulated environments, preferably at global or multi-site scale * Solid understanding of theory and concepts in computer systems validation and system development life cycles (hands on experience not required) * Solid understanding of theory and concepts in project management of complex IT projects (hands on experience not required) * Four to five years experience working in lab operations and business processes in pharmaceutical manufacturing QC or similar setting * Experience on global LIMS or other large scale lab informatics application implementation projects* Self motivated, able to work / follow project plan independently, with minimal supervision * Tolerance for working in dynamic project setting with changing priorities and schedules, aggressive project schedules * Travel 75% nationally and internationally. |
