This position involves developing consumption statistics from purchasing data and providing insights to economists and sector analysts at government agencies and private financial institutions, including the Cabinet Office and the Bank of Japan. ▼Specific duties ・Development of aggregation logic to create economic statistics from purchasing data ・Design and implementation of data pipelines that stably execute large-scale data processing processes ・Development related to EDA, cleansing, and visualization using Python ・Responding to customer inquiries about data aggregation methods ・Design and operation of BI analysis tools In the future, you may also be entrusted with the following tasks: ・Creating insight reports on personal consumption trends/sector consumption trends ・Promoting PoC projects on the utilization of big data with business companies ・Designing, building, and operating data infrastructure for analysis services for institutional investors ・Developing APIs and data marts for web applications for investment analysis ・Developing and operating macro indices using big data |

[Required requirements] ・Japanese or English: Advanced business level in either one is acceptable ▼Data infrastructure ・Able to implement and operate workflows that realize complex requirements using workflow management tools ・Able to design tables and operate DBs using OLAP concepts such as star schema and denormalization ・Able to design tables and build infrastructure for RDBMS ・Able to design, implement, and operate mechanisms necessary to maintain data quality, such as regression testing and data monitoring ▼Infrastructure-related ・Able to build a production execution environment for data analysis infrastructure and update pipelines on public clouds such as AWS using IaC tools such as Terraform ・Able to build a production execution environment for code using Docker ・Development experience using public clouds such as AWS and GCP ▼Data analytics ・Able to define analysis requirements based on customer needs and visualize appropriate data [Preferred requirements] ・Experience managing a team of 2 to 5 people or more and achieving results as a team rather than as an individual ・Development experience using Python ・Engineering experience in the financial field ・Conversational level English ability ・Server-side development experience for web applications ※1: This position does not necessarily require knowledge of finance, as projects will be carried out jointly with financial professionals from both within and outside the company. |
