| Job Description | • Providing overall leadership to the entire project management team. • Setting the strategic direction for the project and providing primary point of contact with the Client. • Preparing and presenting monthly strategic project reports. • Providing strategic management control in terms of the coordination of IT, FMCS and the Project Team. • Developing the vehicle for project delivery in association with agreeing all project team member deliverables. Managing the modifications to the Project Execution Plan and attaining sign off in relation to this. • Managing the preparation of the Project Brief • Managing the appointment of all other consultants • Managing all project costs • Taking overall responsibility for the project delivery in terms of programme/schedule, cost and quality. • Providing Project Team senior representation in all matters of liaison with the Client. • Managing the project team and ensuring adequate resource is allocated to the defined project disciplines. • Overseeing all the design stages to ensure compliance with the project brief and the control mechanisms in place. • Overall management of the procurement process • Conducting periodic project review to ensure compliance with project audit requirements. • Ensure site operations are effective, timely and being carried out in a safe manner. • Developing the strategic migration schedule to reflect business as usual parameters. Reviewing the mechanisms available for migration implementation and presenting strategic recommendation. • Responsible for the development of the detailed project programme to interface all facilities, IT and procurement requirements within the project schedule parameters. • Taking overall responsibility for the full and formal close out of the project. |

| Qualifications | • Academic Level: Diploma in Construction Management or related field minimum. Degree preferred and Masters level is of interest, but really does not signify excellence in delivery. • Experience: Minimum of 10 years with 5 years at least as the lead Project Manager of projects. Preferred experience in corporate fit outs and banking fit out experience is very interesting. Experience in construction in general, in other areas, would be acceptable but unlikely to lead to promotion to SDM in the short term. • PM Skill: Experience in American and British style Construction Management would be very interesting. • Experience in Asia: Experience in Asia would be of interest and, obviously, experience in Japan would be very interesting. Will consider even without, provided experience is of right quality. • Certification: PMP certification preferred, Prince 2 also acceptable.
