How would you describe the Career Fair for first time visitors ?
The HR manager in each company's booth answers questions and explains the company's hiring movements, employee conditions, etc. This helps candidates understand the company culture and in turn, provides the HR manager with a chance to listen to the candidate’s concerns.
 
Is there a place for interviewing and submitting applications ?
There are no designated places for interviewing and submitting applications outside of company booths. We recommend that candidates prepare themselves to ask HR managers directly about job details, such as company atmosphere, overtime work, salary, and so on.
 
Do I have to pay anything to attend the Career Fair ?
No, attendance is free of charge.
 
Is pre-registration essential ?
While it is not essential, we recommend that candidates register before the Career Fair as pre-registered are eligible to win great prizes.
 
Can I participate in the Career Fair even though I haven’t pre-registered ?
Yes, you are more than welcome to participate, although we do ask that you register on the day.
 
Is there an age-limit for those attending ?
There is no age limit. However, we do recommend candidates enquire directly to HR managers regarding age-limits for certain positions.
 
What should I prepare to bring to the Career Fair ?
Please bring your entry sheet. Even though you can fill out the sheet on the day of the Fair, it is strongly recommended that you bring the printed entry sheet and fill it out before attending the Career Fair to save time and avoid crowding in the reception area. Click here to fill out the entry sheet. Your entry sheet will be your first impression to companies at the Fair, so please fill it out carefully.
 
Can I join the Career Fair even though I am not fluent in English ?
Yes, you are more than welcome.
 
Can I participate in the Fair from any time?
Certainly, please feel free to come at anytime! However, one thing we would encourage you to do is keep an eye on the seminar times as there are some great speakers lined up and they only present once !
 
Can I join as a newly graduated student?
This is perfectly fine. Some companies have plans to hire new graduates as part of their hiring strategy. Please ask the HR managers directly about their hiring policies.
 
Should I dress in business attire on the day ?
This is up to the individual as there is no specific dress code. However we recommend wearing a suit (or equivalent) to the Fair as you could be involved in interview situations.
 
What kind of companies will be attending the Career Fair?
Approximately 60 companies from a range of industries will attend the fair for more detailed information, please refer to the company list.
 
What can you tell me about the seminars ?
The speakers are advisors who play an active role in their field of expertise. We would encourage you to participate in the seminars if you have time, as there is a lot of information to be learned during these sessions.
 
What if a company is not advertising any open positions that are right for me ?
The answer to this depends totally on the company in question. Please ask the HR manager directly as you will receive the latest information about any open positions.
 
Are there staff on-site to assist job seekers ?
Daijob staff will be present and can assist you with any questions that you may have.
 
Unfortunately I cannot participate in the up-coming Fair. Will you be hosting another Career Fair soon ?
